Labor M is the art education programme of Schloss Biesdorf, the municipal gallery of the Berlin district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf.

Within the different event formats, we develop approaches to contemporary art for people of all ages. We offer guided tours of the exhibitions, workshops and other events for children, adults and families and develop artistic-practical projects for schools.

Videos, digital workshops and materials on the exhibitions can be found in the media library. You are also welcome to visit our YouTube channel. But there are also offers on site – you can find them below under "Actions and Workshops".

Open workshop 

Interactive Sculptures – workshop for all ages

What effect does an object’s colour have? What feels big and what feels small? What happens when you fold a mirror or replace glass with wood?
Inspired by works in the IDEE + RAUM exhibition and key themes of Concrete Art, this workshop offers the chance to explore the nature of objects and their impact.
By building their own variable table sculptures, participants have the opportunity to engage playfully and creatively with the effects of form, colour and material.

Limited number of participants. Registration is requested.

„Open Workshop“ events are hosted by fluent English speakers and can be run bilingually.
